Data protection declaration.

Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is extremely important to us. Detailed information on the way in which we treat your data is provided below.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our Website without providing any personal details. Every time a Website is visited, the Web server automatically saves a so-called server log file which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the visit, the data volume transferred and the enquiring provider (access data) and documents the visit. This access data will only be evaluated for the purpose of guaranteeing the smooth running of the Website and the improvement of our offer. The aim in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 letter f DSGVO is to protect our justified interests in correctly presenting our offer in the context of a weighing of the different interests concerned.  All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after your site visit. Hosting services by a third party provider. As part of the processing services provided on our behalf, a third party provider offers Website hosting and presentation services. The aim is to protect our justified interests in correctly presenting our offer in the context of a weighing of the different interests concerned.  All data recorded as described below within the framework of the use of this Website or in the corresponding forms provided in the online shop will be processed on its servers. Processing on other servers will only take place in the context explained in this document. This service provider is based in a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and use for the execution of the contract and opening of a customer account

We collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily in the context of your order, when you make contact with us (e.g. by means of the contact form or email) or when a customer account is opened. Mandatory fields are labelled as such as, in these cases, the data is essential for us in order to execute the contract, process your contact information or open a customer account. Without providing this information, you will not be able to complete your order and/or open an account or send your contact information. The corresponding input forms indicate the data that is collected. We use the data that you share in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter. b DSGVO for the execution of the contract and the processing of your requests. Once the execution of the contract is complete or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be limited for further processing and deleted upon expiry of the retention periods according to tax and commercial law, unless you have specifically authorised the continued use of your data or we have reserved the right to continue to use said data with legal authorisation, about which we will inform you in this declaration. Your account may be deleted at any time, either by sending a message using the contact options described below or via one of the functions provided in the customer account.

3. Data transmission

In order to fulfil the contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter. b DSGVO, we will transmit your data to the shipment company commissioned for deliveries if this is required for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider selected in the order process, we will transmit the payment details collected for the settlement of payments to the credit institute dealing with the payment and possibly payment service providers commissioned by us or the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers will collect this data themselves if they open an account. In this case, they must contact the payment service provider with their access data during the order process. The data protection declaration of the payment service provider concerned applies accordingly.

4. Email newsletter

Email advertising with newsletter registration. If you register for our newsletter, we will use the necessary data or information that you have provided separately to send you our regular email newsletter with your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter. a DSGVO. You may cancel your newsletter registration at any time, either by sending a message using the contact options described below or via a link provided in the newsletter. After you have cancelled your registration, we will delete your email address, unless you have specifically authorised the continued use of your data or we have reserved the right to continue to use said data with legal authorisation, about which we will inform you in this declaration.

5. Data use in the context of payment processing

Credit checks and scoring when selecting BillSAFE (PayPal purchase on account)

If you opt for the “purchase on account” payment method offered by the PayPal service “BillSAFE” (www.billsafe.de), you will be asked during the order process to agree to provide PayPal with the data required to process the payment and carry out an identity and credit check according to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 letter. a DSGVO. This data will be transferred to PayPal subject to your agreement. For the purposes of its own identity and credit check, PayPal or partner companies commissioned by PayPal will transmit data to credit agencies and will receive details and information from the latter relating to creditworthiness based on mathematical and statistical procedures, whose calculations involve address-related data among other things. More detailed information on the subject and the credit agencies involved can be obtained from the PayPal data protection information. PayPal uses the information received on the statistical probability of a payment default to make a balanced decision on the justification, implementation or termination of a contractual relationship. You can revoke your agreement with PayPal at any time. However, PayPal may still be authorised to continue to process, use and transmit your personal if this is required for the contractual settlement of a payment or if it is legally prescribed or ordered by a court or authority.

6. Cookies and web analytics

We use cookies on certain pages of our Website in order to make it more attractive, to allow for the use of specific functions, to display suitable products or for market research purposes. The aim is to protect our justified interests in effectively presenting our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 letter. f DSGVO. in the context of a weighing of the different interests concerned. 8. Advertising through marketing networks

Google AdWords. Remarketing. We use Google Adwords to advertise for this Website via Google search results and on third party Websites. If you have confirmed your agreement according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO, the Google remarketing cookie, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonym cookie ID on the basis of the sites that you have visited, will be configured when you visit our Website. When Google AdWords Remarketing is no longer required and we have stopped using it, the data collected in this context will be deleted. Further data processing will only take place if you have agreed with Google that your Web and App browsing history can be merged by Google with your Google account and information from your Google account will be used to customise adverts that you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged into Google when you are visiting our Website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for remarketing across multiple devices. 9. Sending rating reminders by email

If you have confirmed your specific agreement with us according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO during or after your order, we will use your email address to remind you to send us a rating of your order via our rating system. This rating may be revoked at any time by sending a message using the contact options described below.

10. Hotjar

We use Hotjar to gain a better understanding of our users’ requirements and to optimise the offer and the experience of this Website. The Hotjar technology gives us a better understanding of our users’ experience (e.g. how many users spend time on different sites, which links they click on, what the like and dislike, etc.), which helps us to tailor our offer to the feedback received from our users. Hotjar uses cookies and other types of technology to record data on our users’ behaviour and their terminals, in particular the device IP address (which is recorded and saved anonymously when you visit the Website), screen size, device type (Unique Device Identifiers), information on the browser used, location (country only) and the preferred language for our Website adverts. Hotjar stored this information on our behalf in a pseudonymised user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data obtained on our behalf. 11. Contact options and your rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights:  according to Art. 15 DSGVO, the right to request information on the personal data that we process within the scope set forth in this article; according to Art. 16 DSGVO, the right to request immediate correction of incorrect personal data or the completion of your personal data stored by us; according to Art. 17 DSGVO, the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless continued processing is necessary to exercise the right to the freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for
easons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend a legal claim; according to Art. 18 DSGVO, the right to request the limitation of the processing of your personal data if you have disputed the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you have declined its deletion, we no longer require the data,  but you require it to asset, exercise or defend a legal claim or you have filed an objection against processing according to Art. 21 DSGVO; according to Art. 20 DSGVO, the right to request receipt of your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, standard, machine-readable format   or its transmission to another responsible party; according to Art. 77 DSGVO, the right to issue a compliant with a supervisory authority.  In general you can contact the supervisory authority of your normal place of residence, your workplace or our company head office in this context.   Please contact us directly using the contact details provided in our legal notice if you have any questions concerning the recording, processing or use of your personal data, information, the correction, blocking or deletion of data, the revocation of agreements granted or objections against specific data usage.

Right of objection

After you have exercised your right of objection, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can prove that compelling legitimate grounds exist for processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or if processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. This does not apply if data is processed for direct marketing purposes. In this case, we will no longer use your personal data for this purpose.
